  3. The inside story of a single father and a part-time bar worker

  6. Filmed over three years, the doucmentary follows Helen Steel
  7. and Dave Morris through the transformation from anonymous campaigners 
  8. to unlikely global heroes as they defend themselves in the longes trial 
  9. in English history.  Along the way they face infiltration by spies, secret 
  10. meetings with top executives, 40,000 pages of background reading and a visit 
  11. fom Ronald McDonald.

  14. Using interviews with witnesses and reconstructions of key moments in court, the 
  15. film examines the main issues in the trial (nutrition, advertising, employment, 
  16. animals, the envionment), as well as the implications for freedom of speech.

  18. McLibel is not about hambugers.  It is about mulitnational corporations and the 
  19. power they wield.
