In argumentation, it's more usefulto think of claims being made, SO that we don't dismiss arguments without really considering them ("Well, that's just your opinion' 1"). You may think this video expresses old-fashioned opinions about how boys and girls should act, but these opinions were probably commonly accepted at the time. See also fact and claim.
