MOSQUITO FIRE

A flight simulation created with the Flight Sim Toolkit by
Simis. This flight simulator is Freeware. You may freely copy
and distribute this flight simulator, but if you wish to use
any of the shapes supplied with this simulation (that are
not shapes supplied with FST) in your own simulator, you must
explicitly credit me with their creation (especially the
aircraft themselves, as they took me a long time to
create!!).

MISSION BRIEFING

Time: 19:00 hrs
From: Air Force Headquarters, London
To: C.O. Squadron 123, Islay.
Situation:
Axis forces have captured 2 islands off the western coast of
Scotland, and intend to attack the mainland in the near
future. Intelligence reports the captured field on Jura now
hosts a squadron of escort fighters (comprised of ME110D)
and a light bomber/reconnaissance group(comprised of BV141B).
A small amount of fighters are also present on Mull, as are
the main bomber force. The enemy intends to supply these
bombers with aircrew and ammunition by flying a supply run
from Jura to Mull with fighter cover. This supply run MUST
be stopped, and all the aircraft carrying cargo(the BV141B)
destroyed.
Mission Objectives:
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
1) Stop the BV141B light bombers from supplying the airfield on Mull.
SECONDARY OBJECTIVES:
2) Protect allied installations and civilians on Islay and Colonsay.
3) Destroy all enemy aircraft operating from Jura and Mull.
4) Destroy all enemy installations on Jura,Scarba and Mull.

Airfield situation:
Supplies to my airfield are good, and we would be happy to
re-arm and re-fuel your aircraft if this is nessassary.
Please note: routine training flights are departing and
arriving at my airfield regularly, so please ensure you
avoid these aircraft.

Fair but decreasing, it is currently dusk.
Chief Fitter:
Your aircraft is the standard FBVI Mosquito. It has radar
fitted, that picks up enemy fighter radar emissions and
displays them in green.Axis and Allied ground installations
and Bombers appear in Yellow.
Chief Armourer:
Your aircraft has been fitted with 16 rockets for this
mission, in addition to the standard guns.
