InPerson is a networked multimedia conferencing tool.
InPerson provides multi-way audio and video conferencing
with a shared whiteboard, combined into a single, easy-to-

and answer calls.
Note: Packaged with your software is a separate sheet that
contains the Software License Agreement. This
software is provided to you solely under the terms
and conditions of the Software License Agreement.
Please take a few moments to review the Agreement.

InPerson 2.1 runs on all systems with graphics that are
supported by IRIX 6.2. InPerson's whiteboard only runs on
systems with graphics and overlay planes; it does not run on
Personal Irises. The audio conferencing features are
supported only on audio-capable systems: Indy, Indigo2, and
Indigo. A microphone is required, and headphones are useful
in some environments. Video hardware is not required;
static images can be used instead of live video.
IndigoVideo hardware for Indigo LG1 graphics, also known as
Starter video, is no longer supported in IRIX 6.2, nor by
InPerson 2.1.1.

The InPerson Option board software (known as indycomp)
should NOT be installed on systems with a Cosmo compression
board. If the indycomp images are installed, the Cosmo board
may hang and require a system reset. See the indycomp
release notes for details.
The InPerson Option board software (indycomp) should not be
installed on Indy systems with the R4000/PC (the original
entry-level CPU for Indy) due to low performance. Consider
upgrading the CPU.
1.3 _O_n_l_i_n_e__R_e_l_e_a_s_e__N_o_t_e_s
After you install the online documentation for a product
(the _r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s subsystem), you can view the release notes on
your screen.
If you have a graphics system, select ``Release Notes'' from
the Help submenu of the Toolchest. This displays the
_g_r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(1) graphical browser for the online release notes.
Refer to the _g_r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(1) man page for information on
options to this command.
If you do not have a graphics system, you can use the
_r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s command. Refer to the _r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s(1) man page to
access online release notes.
1.4 _O_n_l_i_n_e__M_a_n__P_a_g_e_s
A man page is provided with InPerson. To access the on-line
man page, select "Man Page" from the "Help" sub-menu of the
_t_o_o_l_c_h_e_s_t, or use the UNIX command "man inperson".
