  10.        This chapter lists supplemental information to the _I_R_I_S
  11.        _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e.  The information listed here is
  12.        product-specific; use it with the installation guide to
  13.        install this product.

  17.        The ISDN Admin product includes these subsystems:

  19.        _i_s_d_n_a_d_m_i_n._s_w._i_s_d_n_d_a_d_m_i_n       The ISDN system management
  20.                                      applications:  _p_p_p_s_e_t_u_p,

  22.                                      by default. These are the
  23.                                      applications for isdn and ppp

  32.        This section lists the subsystems (and their sizes) of the
  33.        Isdnadmin option.

  35.        If you click on the _N_e_w _P_r_o_d_u_c_t_s checkbox in the Software
  36.        Manager, then new subsystems marked "default" are the ones
  37.        installed automatically if you click on the _S_t_a_r_t button.
  38.        To install a different set of subsystems, click the
  39.        _C_u_s_t_o_m_i_z_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n button to view and select desired
  40.        subsystems.

  42.        Note:  The listed subsystem sizes are approximate. Refer to

  75.        IRIX in multi-user mode.  You do not need to use the
  76.        miniroot. Refer to the _I_R_I_S _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e for
  77.        complete installation instructions.

  79.        2.4  _P_r_e_r_e_q_u_i_s_i_t_e_s

  82.        The following prerequisites external to ISDN admin apply to
  83.        the _i_s_d_n_a_d_m_i_n._s_w._n_e_t_w_o_r_k subsystem:

  85.           +o You must have installed the execution C library
  86.             (_e_o_e_1._s_w._l_i_b).

  88.           +o You must have installed the isdn support
  89.             (_i_s_d_n__e_o_e._s_w._i_s_d_n).

  91.           +o You must have installed the ppp support (_e_o_e_2._s_w._p_p_p).

  93.           +o You must have installed the TCP/IP networking support
  94.             (_e_o_e_2._s_w._t_c_p).

  96.           +o You must have installed the desktop execution only
  97.             environment (_d_e_s_k_t_o_p__e_o_e._s_w). This subsystem's
  98.             prerequisites include X window system, window manager,
  99.             and visual toolkits.

  102.        2.4.1  _I_S_D_N__A_d_m_i_n__a_p_p_l_i_c_a_t_i_o_n_s  The ISDN Admin applications
  103.        can be accessed from from the _S_y_s_t_e_m _M_a_n_a_g_e_r applications
  104.        panel or from the command line.  Please reference the
  105.        appropriate man pages for details on command line usage.
