  3. 1. Connect gears in different
  4. ways to form a path from the
  5. bottom drive wheel to movie.
  6. First, drag a gear into the
  7. Work Area and place it next
  8. to the drive gear. Then add
  9. other gears by clicking on 
  10. a gear and dragging it to the
  11. left, right, top, or bottom of 
  12. a gear that is already in the
  13. Work Area.

  15. 2. To see how the different
  16. gear combinations work
  17. together, drag the movie
  18. window onto the top Gear.
  19.  
  20. 3. You can also use the
  21. motor slider to change the
  22. speed of the gears. 
  23.  
  24. 4. To dismiss one gear at a
  25. time without resetting the
  26. entire group, double-click 
  27. on the gear you want to
  28. remove.
  29.  
  30. 5.  To create a new
  31. combination of gears, click
  32. on the Reset button.
