  4. 1. Click and hold down the mouse button to turn the phonautograph in different directions. Let go to stop turning.

  6. 2. Click on the mouthpiece to see how the phonautograph operates.
  7.  
  8. 3. The magnifying glass cursor will show you places where you can zoom in. The reveal cursor will show you places where you can look inside the phonautograph.
