  6. Minutes of the Uninterruptible Power Supply Working Group (UPSMIB)
  7.  
  8. The UPSMIB Working Group met on Monday, July 12, at the 27th meeting of
  9. the Internet Engineering Task Force, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.  The
  10. meeting was a small one.
  11.  
  12. A new draft of the result of the strawman effort ongoing since the
  13. Columbus meeting was presented and reviewed by those in attendance.  A
  14. few errors were identified during the review.  These will be corrected
  15. and the results will be posted to the mailing list and as an
  16. Internet-Draft to achieve the widest possible circulation.  The meeting
  17. was helpful in that it caused the generation of a new draft, bringing
  18. some closure to the strawman effort.  This new draft will serve as the
  19. basis for future discussions, coalescing the work to date into a single
  20. document.

  22. It was noted that the group is making progress more rapidly now that the
  23. level of activity on the mailing list has increased.  It was also noted
  24. that this is essential, because the amount of time invested to date has
  25. exceeded the chartered time for completion, and the group must complete
  26. its work in the near term.
