  24. Description of Working Group:
  25.  
  26.   The SNMPv2 Working Group is chartered to prepare a recommendation
  27.   to the IESG evaluating RFCs 1441-1452 (the SNMPv2 document set)
  28.   with respect to the standards track.  The recommendation will
  29.   document implementation, interoperability, and deployment
  30.   experience.  If these experiences suggest that changes should be
  31.   made to the documents, new Internet-Drafts may be prepared.  The
  32.   recommendation will report one of four outcomes for each RFC:
  33.  
  34.   - that the RFC should be advanced from Proposed to Draft status,
  35.     without changes (if no problems are found);
  36.  
  37.   - that an Internet-Draft prepared by the working group should
  38.     replace the RFC, and be designated a Draft Standard (if only
  39.     minor changes are made);
  40.  
  41.   - that an Internet-Draft prepared by the working group should
  42.     replace the RFC, and be designated a Proposed Standard (if
  43.     major changes or feature enhancements are made); or,
  44.  
  45.   - that the RFC should be designated as Historic (if this
  46.     technology is problematic).
