  27. The NOC-Tools Working Group will develop a catalog to assist network
  28. managers in the selection and acquisition of diagnostic and analytic
  29. tools for TCP/IP Internets.
  30.  
  31.  Goals and Milestones:

  33.    Jan 89       Publish a reference document listing what tools are available, 
  34.                 what they do, and where they can be obtained.

  36.    Jan 89       Identify tools available to assist network managers in 
  37.                 debugging and maintaining their networks.

  39.    Jan 89       Identify the need for new or improved tools as may become 
  40.                 apparent during the compilation of the reference document.

  42.    Jan 89       Establish procedures to ensure the ongoing maintenance of the 
  43.                 reference and the archive, and identify an organization willing
  44.                 to do it.
