  18.    o Frame Relay Forum (FRF)
  19.      Andy Malis, Chair of the FRF, presented the work plan for the FRF
  20.      effort.  The start and end dates of the FRF effort match those of
  21.      the FRNETMIB Working Group and there are some intermediate
  22.      meetings.
  23.      The goal shared by both groups is to have a standard MIB by
  24.      December of 1993.

  26.    o Service Management Architecture
  27.      Ken Rodemann gave a presentation based on the 2 July draft of his
  28.      document.  The general reaction was positive, and in particular the
  29.      ``(virtual-)circuit table'' was identified as a work item to be
  30.      discussed with the ATOMMIB and IFMIB Working Groups.
  31.      Discussion of the rest of the Service Management Architecture
  32.      document will continue in the FRNETMIB Working Group.

  34.    o Draft MIB
  35.      Based on discussions of the 2 July draft, consensus was reached on
  36.      the following:
  37.  
  38.       -  The PVC table was split into a ``flow'' (or connection) table
  39.          and an end-point table.
  40.  
  41.       -  The per-PVC InUnits and OutUnits counters were renamed to
  42.          InOctets and OutOctets for consistency with other MIBs and
  43.          frPVCUnitSize was renamed to (something like) OctetResolution
  44.          (see action item #2).
  45.  
  46.       -  The LPortNetAddress object was dropped as a duplicate of
  47.          ifPhysAddr.
  48.  
  49.       -  A reference to ifPhysAddress was placed in the description of
  50.          LPortNumPlan.

  58.       -  The frPVCConnectStatus trap needs to have words to prevent
  59.          flooding a manager with traps when a whole link fails.  There
  60.          is an added complexity with respect to the modeling of NNI
  61.          links (see action item #3).

  63.       -  The next draft of the MIB will be in SNMPv2.
  64.  
  65.       -  The focus of the MIB is primarily Customer Network Management
  66.          (CNM) of PVCs for Frame Relay; however, it may be useful for
  67.          other purposes.

  72.   1. Tracy Brown to issue a revised MIB draft (in SNMP V2 format) prior
  73.      to the August FRF meeting.
