  6. Minutes of the AToM MIB Working Group (ATOMMIB)
  7.  
  8. The AToM MIB Working Group met during two days in Stockholm.  The
  9. following topics were discussed:

  12.    o Supplemental ATM MIB
  13.    o Implementation feedback RFC 1695
  14.    o Implementation feedback ATMForum ILMI
  15.    o Implementation feedback RFC 1595

  18. Supplemental ATM MIB
  19.  
  20. Mike Noto presented the issues list on this MIB. Many issues were
  21. resolved.  The revised issues list will be posted to the mailing list.
  22. A revised draft will be posted to the list as well.  The objective is to
  23. have a mature draft before the Dallas meeting and to resolve any
  24. remaining issues there.  A draft ATM textual conventions (ATMTC) MIB was
  25. posted for use by other ATM MIBs.

  28. Implementation Feedback RFC 1695
  29.  
  30. Seven implementation reports have been received covering over a dozen
  31. implementations both for managers and for agents.  The feedback produced
  32. some issues, but at first glance no major issues.  Based on the
  33. feedback, the working group decided to work towards advancement of
  34. RFC 1695 to Draft Standard status.  The issues list will be posted and
  35. discussed on the mailing list.  The implementation feedback summary will
  36. be posted as well.

  39. Implementation Feedback ATMForum ILMI
  40.  
  41. Eight implementation reports were received on the ILMI. The ILMI is
  42. relevant to RFC 1695 because of its overlapping MIB structure and
  43. complementary role relative to RFC 1695.  The feedback summary will be
  44. posted to the mailing list.

  47. Implementation Feedback RFC 1595
  48.  
  49. No formal call for implementation experience has been done for RFC 1595
  50. (SONET MIB) yet.  This is expected in the coming months.  Issues have
  51. been identified, also based on parallel work in the TRUNKMIB Working
  52. Group.  The issues list will be posted to the mailing list.  The goal is
  53. to wrap up work on these issues before the Dallas meeting to facilitate
  54. potential progression on the specification to Draft Standard after that
  55. meeting.
