  6. DESCRIPTION:

  8. In order to achieve the goal of interoperable directory services,
  9. implementors must agree on standard object classes and attribute types.
  10. There are a growing number of places where schema for Internet Directory
  11. Services and Internet Operations are being defined. While this plethora
  12. of schema authors is desirable, a schema registry service is needed to
  13. avoid duplication of effort and to allow directory service and
  14. operations administrators to enhance interoperability.

  16. This BOF will determine the need for and charter of a working group in
  17. this area. Topics that will be considered are:

  21. Registration authorities
  22. Storage requirements
