  39.  1. The IESG approved the minutes from the June 13 teleconference.
  40.     Steve to place in shadow directories.

  42.  2. There were a number of comments and issues raised during the
  43.     discussion of INTERNET REGISTRY IP ALLOCATION GUIDELINES
  44.     <draft-hubbard-registry-guidelines-03.txt. Folks are to send their
  45.     comments and concerns to Scott by July 18. Scott will consolidate
  46.     and send to the IESG and cidrd WG list.

  48.  3. The IESG decided to return The Model Primary Content Type for MIME
  49.     <draft-nelson-model-mail-ext-04.txt> to the author with a request
  50.     to include examples in the document, and not to just list URLs in
  51.     the document.
  52.  
  53.  4. The IESG approved publication of IP Version 6 over PPP
  54.     <draft-ietf-ipngwg-pppext-ipv6cp-03.txt> as a Proposed Standard.

  57.  5. The IESG approved publication of A Method for the Transmission of
  58.     IPv6 Packets over FDDI Networks
  59.     <draft-ietf-ipngwg-fddi-ntwrks-04.txt> as a Proposed Standard.

  62.  6. The IESG approved publication The Simple Public-Key GSS-API
  63.     Mechanism (SPKM) <draft-ietf-cat-spkmgss-06.txt> as a Proposed

  67.     protocol document that will include a Security Consideration section.

  69.  8. The IESG approved publication of Definitions of Managed Objects for
  70.     IEEE 802.12 Interfaces <draft-ietf-vgmib-interfaces-mib-06.txt> as
  71.     a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement.

  73.  9. The IESG approved publication of Definitions of Managed Objects for
  74.     Data Link Switching using SNMPv2 <draft-ietf-dlswmib-mib-09.txt> as
  75.     a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement.

  77. 10. The IESG approved publication of OSI NSAPs and IPv6
  78.     <draft-ietf-ipngwg-nsap-ipv6-01.txt> as an Experimental Protocol.

  80. 11. The IESG had no problem with the publication of PNG (Portable
  81.     Network Graphics) Specification Version 1.0
  82.     <draft-boutell-png-spec-04.txt> as an Informational RFC, but will
  83.     request the following IESG Note be included:

  85.     The IESG takes no position as to the validity of the authors'
  86.     patent claims.

  90. 12. The IESG had no problem with the publication of Operational
  91.     Criteria for Root Name Servers
  92.     <draft-manning-dnssvr-criteria-04.txt> as an Informational RFC.

  96. 13. The IESG decided to return Multiple Response Simple Mail
  97.     Transfer Protocol <draft-myers-mrsmtp-00.txt> to the document
  98.     author for some minor revisions and a title change. Once done, can
  99.     be published as Informational.

  101. 14. The IESG approved publication of Uniform Resource Agents (URAs)
  102.     <draft-daigle-ura-02.txt> as an Experimental Protocol. Steve to
  103.     send announcement.

  105. 15. Scott Bradner was designated temporary IESG liaison to the
  106.     Nominations committee as Harald is on vacation and there is
  107.     currently a position to be filled.
  108.  
  109. 16. The IESG agreed to join the IAB when the Cyptography statement
  110.     (still being drafted) is issued.
