Minutes

1. The IESG approved the minutes of the September 14 teleconference.
Coya to place into the Shadow directories.
2. There were not enough participants on the teleconference to approve
Guidelines for creation, selection, and registration of an
Autonomous System (AS) as a BCP. Action deferred to next meeting.
3. Action on the RTP package was deferred pending discussion with the AD.
4. The IESG approved the publication of SMTP Service Extension for
Command Pipelining <draft-ietf-mailext-pipeline-03.txt> as a
Proposed Standard. Coya to send announcement.
5. Action on the 9 SIPP Internet-Drafts was deferred pending
discussions with the ADs as to the value of publishing these
expired documents as RFCs.
6. The IESG had no problem with the publication of "Netiquette
Guidelines" <draft-ietf-run-netiquette-guide-02.txt> as an
Informational RFC. Coya to send announcement.
7. The IESG approved the creation of the Entity MIB (entmib) Working
Group in the Network Management Area.
8. Mike will provide a revised Charter for the Guide for Internet
Standards Writers (stdguide) WG RSN :-)
9. Coya to ascertain the status of the Variance proposal, which needs to
be revised based on input from legal review and re-issued as an
Internet-Draft.
