  19. This document describes a standard encoding for electronic mail
  20. containing Greek text and provides implementation guide-lines.  The
  21. standard is based on MIME and the ISO 8859-7 character encoding.
  22. Although the implementation of this standard is straightforward
  23. several non-standard but "functional" - though unlikely to
  24. inter-operate - alternatives are in common use.  For this reason we
  25. highlight common implementation and mail user agent setup errors.

  27. This memo provides information for the Internet community.  This memo
  28. does not specify an Internet standard of any kind.  Distribution of
  29. this memo is unlimited.
