  23. The General Switch Management Protocol (GSMP), is a general purpose
  24. protocol to control an ATM switch. GSMP allows a controller to
  25. establish and release connections across the switch; add and delete
  26. leaves on a point-to-multipoint connection; manage switch ports;
  27. request configuration information; and request statistics.

  29. This memo provides information for the Internet community.  This memo
  30. does not specify an Internet standard of any kind.  Distribution of
  31. this memo is unlimited.
