  18. This document specifies a generic tunnel management protocol that
  19. allows remote dial-in users to access their home network as if they
  20. were directly attached to the home network.

  22. IESG Note: This note documents a private protocol for tunnel
  23. management.  This protocol is NOT the product of an IETF working group
  24. nor is it a standards track document. There is ongoing effort in an
  25. IETF working group which could result in a standards track document
  26. which specifies a protocol which provides similar functionality.

  28. This memo provides information for the Internet community.  This memo
  29. does not specify an Internet standard of any kind.  Distribution of
  30. this memo is unlimited.
