  19. This document describes a lightweight binding mechanism that
  20. allows NFS clients to obtain service from WebNFS-enabled
  21. servers with a minimum of protocol overhead.  In removing
  22. this overhead, WebNFS clients see benefits in faster response
  23. to requests, easy transit of packet filter firewalls and
  24. TCP-based proxies, and better server scalability.

  27. memo does not specify an Internet standard of any kind.
