  18. This memo describes errors often found in both the operation of Domain
  19. Name System (DNS) servers, and in the data that these DNS servers
  20. contain.  This memo tries to summarize current Internet requirements
  21. as well as common practice in the operation and configuration of the
  22. DNS.  This memo also tries to summarize or expand upon issues raised
  23. in RFC 1537.

  25. This memo provides information for the Internet community.  This memo
  26. does not specify an Internet standard of any kind.  Distribution of
  27. this memo is unlimited.

  29. This announcement is sent to the IETF list and the RFC-DIST list.
