  19. This document describes a new series of documents which describe best
  20. current practices for the Internet community.  Documents in this
  21. series carry the endorsement of the Internet Engineering Steering
  22. Group (IESG).

  24. This document specifies an Internet Best Current Practices for the
  25. Internet Community, and requests discussion and suggestions for
  26. improvements.  Distribution of this memo is unlimited.

  28. This announcement is sent to the IETF list and the RFC-DIST list.
  29. Requests to be added to or deleted from the IETF distribution list
  30. should be sent to IETF-REQUEST@CNRI.RESTON.VA.US.  Requests to be
  31. added to or deleted from the RFC-DIST distribution list should
  32. be sent to RFC-DIST-REQUEST@ISI.EDU.
