  18. The Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) provides a standard method of
  19. encapsulating multiple protocol datagrams over point-to-point links.
  20. The PPP Compression Control Protocol provides a method for
  21. transporting multi-protocol datagrams over PPP encapsulated links.
  22. This document describes the use of the Predictor data compression
  23. algorithm for compressing PPP encapsulated packets.  This RFC is the
  24. product of the Point-to-Point Protocol Extensions Working Group of the
  25. IETF.

  27. This memo provides information for the Internet community.  This memo
  28. does not specify an Internet standard of any kind.  Distribution of
  29. this memo is unlimited.
