  19. This memo defines a portion of the Management Information Base (MIB)
  20. for use with network management protocols in TCP/IP-based internets.
  21. In particular, it describes managed objects used for managing the IP
  22. Network Control Protocol on subnetwork interfaces using the family of
  23. Point-to-Point Protocols.  This RFC is a product of the Point-to-Point
  24. Protocol Extensions Working Group of the IETF.
  25.  
  26. This is now a Proposed Standard Protocol.
  27.  
  28. This RFC specifies an IAB standards track protocol for the Internet
  29. community, and requests discussion and suggestions for improvements.
  30. Please refer to the current edition of the "IAB Official Protocol
  31. Standards" for the standardization state and status of this protocol.
