  15. Pip is an internet protocol intended as the replacement for IP version
  16. 4.  Pip is a general purpose internet protocol, designed to handle all
  17. forseeable internet protocol requirements.  This specification defines
  18. the Pip header processing for Routers and Hosts.

  20. This memo provides information for the Internet community.  This memo
  21. does not specify an Internet standard of any kind.  Distribution of
  22. this memo is unlimited.

  24. This announcement is sent to the IETF list and the RFC-DIST list.
