  15. This RFC provides an easy to understand reference for developers
  16. intending to run IP over ATM and describes the motivation for the
  17. value chosen.  This memo is a product of the IP Over Asynchronous
  18. Transfer Mode Working Group of the IETF.

  20. This is now a Proposed Standard Protcol.
  21.  
  22. This document specifies an Internet standards track protocol for the
  23. Internet community, and requests discussion and suggestions for
  24. improvements.  Please refer to the current edition of the "Internet
  25. Official Protocol Standards" (STD 1) for the standardization state and
  26. status of this protocol.  Distribution of this memo is unlimited.
