  16. This memo describes an approach to the implementation of the ANSI/NISO
  17. Z39.50-1992 Standard for Information Retrieval in the TCP/IP
  18. environment which is currently in wide use by the Z39.50 implementor
  19. community.  This RFC is the product of the Integration of Internet
  20. Information Resources Working Group of the IETF.

  22. This memo provides information for the Internet community.  This memo
  23. does not specify an Internet standard of any kind.  Distribution of
  24. this memo is unlimited.

  26. This announcement is sent to the IETF list and the RFC-DIST list.
