  16. This memo defines a portion of the Management Information Base (MIB)
  17. for use with network management protocols in the Internet community.
  18. In particular, it describes managed objects used for managing Network
  19. Interfaces.

  21. This is now a Proposed Standard Protocol.

  23. This document specifies an Internet standards track protocol for the
  24. Internet community, and requests discussion and suggestions for
  25. improvements.  Please refer to the current edition of the "Internet
  26. Official Protocol Standards" (STD 1) for the standardization state and
  27. status of this protocol.  Distribution of this memo is unlimited.
