  18. This memo defines a portion of the Management Information Base (MIB)
  19. for use with network management protocols in the Internet community.
  20. In particular, it defines objects for managing ethernet-like objects.
  21. This memo also includes a MIB module.  This MIB module corrects minor
  22. errors in the earlier versions of this MIB: RFC 1623 and RFC 1398.
  23. This document is a product of the Interfaces MIB Working Group of the
  24. IETF.

  26. This is now a Standard Protocol.
  27.  
  28. This document specifies an Internet standards track protocol for the
  29. Internet community, and requests discussion and suggestions for
  30. improvements.  Please refer to the current edition of the "Internet
  31. Official Protocol Standards" (STD 1) for the standardization state and
  32. status of this protocol.  Distribution of this memo is unlimited.
