  19. This specification defines protocols, procedures, and conventions to
  20. be employed by peers implementing the Generic Security Service
  21. Application Program Interface (as specified in RFCs 1508 and 1509)
  22. when using the Simple Public-Key Mechanism. This RFC is a product is
  23. of the Common Authentication Technology Working Group of the IETF.

  25. This is now a Proposed Standard Protocol.

  27. This memo defines an Experimental Protocol for the Internet
  28. community.  This memo does not specify an Internet standard of any
  29. kind.  Discussion and suggestions for improvement are requested.
