  20. This memo describes a protocol that is an evolution of the previous
  21. version of the protocol, version 4.  This new protocol stems from
  22. active discussions and prototype implementations.  This RFC is a
  23. product of the Authenticated Firewall Traversal Working Group of the
  24. IETF.
  25.  
  26. This is now a Proposed Standard Protocol.
  27.  
  28. This document specifies an Internet standards track protocol for the
  29. Internet community, and requests discussion and suggestions for
  30. improvements.  Please refer to the current edition of the "Internet
  31. Official Protocol Standards" (STD 1) for the standardization state and
  32. status of this protocol.  Distribution of this memo is unlimited.
