ocr: Newsprint In 1866, the first modern rotary press was installed at The Times of London. It was printed on both sides of paper fed from a roll at the rate of 25,000 impressions an hour. Later, paper was able to pass through the presses at more than 20 miles per hour. Newsprint is mostly made from wood pulp.
