  9. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions 
  10. before using this software. Use of this software indicates your
  11.  acceptance of this license agreement and warranty.

  13. Registered Version

  15. One registered copy of Chess Captor may either be used by a 
  16. single person who uses the software personally on one or more 
  17. computers, or installed on a single workstation used 
  18. nonsimultaneously by multiple people, but not both.
  19.  
  20. You may access the registered version of Chess Captor through 
  21. a network, provided that you have obtained individual licenses 
  22. for the software covering all workstations that will access the 
  23. software through the network.  For instance, if 6 different 
  24. workstations will access Chess Captor on the network, each 
  25. workstation must have its own Chess Captor license, regardless 
  26. of whether they use Chess Captor at different times or 
  27. concurrently.

  29. No registered user may alter or modify Chess Captor and the 
  30. accompanying files in any way, nor may you give anyone else 
  31. permission to do so.

  33. Disclaimer of Warranty

  35. THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND 
  36. WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OR MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY 
  37. OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. Because of the 
  38. various hardware and software environments into which Chess 
  39. Captor may be put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR 
  40. PURPOSE IS OFFERED.

  42. Good data processing procedure dictates that any program be 
  43. thoroughly tested with non-critical data before relying on it. 
  44. The user must assume the entire risk of using the program. ANY

  52. This is not free software.  Subject to the terms below, you are
  53. hereby licensed to use this software for evaluation purposes
  54. without charge for a period of 30 days.  If you use this software
  55. after the 30-day evaluation period a registration fee of $15 is
  56. required. For details on payment see the How to Register section.
  57. Credit card ordering and quantity discounts are available, as 
  58. described in the section Ordering Information/Order Form. When 
  59. payment is received you will be sent a notification by either 
  60. email or normal mail stating your registration name and number.

  62. Unregistered use of Chess Captor after the 30-day evaluation 
  63. period is in violation of U.S. and international copyright laws.

  67. Chess Captor may be freely distributed, provided that:

  69. 1. Such distribution includes only the original archive supplied 
  70.    by me, the Author. You may not alter, delete or add any files 
  71.    in the distribution archive.
  72. 2. The distribution does not include a registration number. In 
  73.    particular, you may not distribute a registered piece of 
  74.    software.
  75. 3. No money is charged, to the person receiving the software, 
  76.    beyond reasonable cost of packaging and other overhead.
