  6.   NOTE: This is the last of three files containing
  7.         information about the WIN.INI file. It describes
  8.         sections that are specific to Windows with Multimedia
  9.         Extensions. For general information about WIN.INI
  10.         and the listings in this file, read the introductory
  11.         material in the WININI.TXT file.

  13.   CAUTION: Changing a WIN.INI setting can lead to
  14.            undesirable results when you run Windows. Before
  15.            changing any setting, read "Changing Settings"
  16.            in the WININI.TXT file.

  22. [MCI EXTENSIONS] SECTION
  23.  
  24. The [mci extensions] section defines filename extensions
  25. that the Multimedia Player application recognizes for
  26. different multimedia types. When the user selects a
  27. particular type of multimedia file, Multimedia Player
  28. displays files with the extension defined for that type
  29. in the [mci extensions] section.

  31. The [mci extensions] section can contain the following settings:

  34. <extension>=waveaudio
  35.   Default: WAV
  36. ------------------------------------------------------------
  37. <extension>=sequencer
  38.   Defaults: MID, RMI
  39.   Purpose: Specifies the extension that Multimedia Player
  40.            recognizes for MIDI files.

  43.   Defaults: MMM
