  1. ABOUT THE TOOLBOOK EVALUATION EDITION -- ONLINE RELEASE NOTES

  4. The main difference between the ToolBook Evaluation Edition
  5. and the full version of ToolBook is that you can work only 
  6. up to six hours at Author level per book using the Evaluation
  7. Edition. For details about Author level and Reader level in 
  8. ToolBook, see the "Welcome" section in the Evaluating 
  9. ToolBook guide.

  11. The time limit applies to any book used with the Evaluation 
  12. Edition:  sample applications, other ToolBook applications, and
  13. books you create with either the Evaluation Edition or the full 
  14. version of ToolBook.

  16. When you save a book after working at Author level, the 
  17. Evaluation Edition subtracts the time spent from the six-hour 
  18. limit. If you do not save changes or if you work with the book 
  19. only at Reader level, the remaining time is not reduced.

  21. The Evaluation Edition displays the amount of time remaining 
  22. each time you save a book or go to Author level.  You can also
  23. find out how much time is left by choosing the About ToolBook
  24. command from the Help menu.  If the time runs out for a book,
  25. you can continue to use it at Reader level, but you cannot
  26. switch to Author level. To continue using any of the Evaluation 
  27. Edition's sample applications at Author level after their time
  28. limit has expired, you can reinstall the Evaluation Edition 
  29. using the Setup disk.

  31. NOTE:   Objects and text in a book carry with them the Author-level
  32.     time that remains for that book.  If you copy and paste 
  33.     an object from a book with less time than the destination 
  34.     book, or paste text from a field into another field, 
  35.     the destination book's time is set to the time carried by 
  36.     the pasted object.
