  1.   TCP/IP 2.0 for OS/2 Extended Networking Corrective Service Information

  3.      NOTE:  You must install the Base Kit CSD (UN56401) before you install
  4.             this CSD and use the upgraded Extended Networking Kit.
  5.  
  6.   1.  Obtaining Future CSDs Electronically
  7.  
  8.      You can obtain Corrective Service Diskettes (CSDs) electronically
  9.      by:
  10.  
  11.        o   Using FTP to access SOFTWARE.WATSON.IBM.COM as Anonymous.
  12.  
  13.            NOTE:  Fixes for TCP/IP for OS/2 are located in the
  14.                   pub\tcpip\os2 directory.
  15.  
  16.        o   Establishing a modem connection to the NCSBBS bulletin board
  17.            at 1-919-517-0001.
  18.  
  19.            NOTE:  Set your modem settings to: none,8,1.
  20.

  56.   2. Corrective Service Diskette (CSD) UN60005 reflects APARs applied to
  57.      the TCP/IP 2.0 for OS/2: Extended Networking Kit.  For a list of
  58.      APARs included in this CSD, see 'APARs Fixed' below.

  64.   3. MVS PTF Required
  65.  
  66.      When you connect OS/2 to MVS using the SNALINK feature of the
  67.      Extended Networking Kit, you should first install the MVS PTF
  68.      for MVS APAR PN44647.
  69.  
  70.      If you do not apply this APAR, the following may occur:
  71.  
  72.        o   When an OS/2 user trys to activate the SNA LU 6.2 sessions
  73.            from the Communications Manager SNA subsystems management,
  74.            the sessions remain inactive.
  75.  
  76.        o   TCP/IP traffic cannot use the SNALINK.
  77.  
  78.            This occurs because the Transaction Program (TP) names on
  79.            OS/2 and MVS are different.
  80.  
  81.      This APAR has no affect on SNALINK connections from one OS/2
  82.      system to another OS/2 system.
