  31.  The files in WINNCS.EXE, should allow you to use any Windows
  32.  communications application which uses the standard Windows API
  33.  calls, whether NASI compatible or not.
  34.  
  35.  - The "NASI Redirector" stays active at all times when Windows
  36.  is active (unless you turn it off).  It traps all calls to the
  37.  COM port, and redirects them to a NetWare Connect port.
  38.  
  39.  You can define up to 8 NASI Redirected ports within one Widows
  40.  session.
  41.  
  42.  - With the NASI redirector, you do not have load NASI before
  43.  running Windows.
  44.  
  45.  - The Redirector loads and calls NASI.DLL from within Windows
  46.  and unloads it again when no longer needed.
  47.  
  48.  To install the Redirector (WIN2NCS, Novell's Windows/NASI
  49.  redirector for Netware Connect 1.0):
  50.  
  51.  1. Create a directory (C:\TEMP).
  52.  2. Copy WINNCS.EXE into C:\TEMP.
  53.  3. Unzip WINNCS.EXE.
  54.  4. Start Windows.
  55.  5. Use File Manager to go to C:\TEMP.
  56.  6. Run SETUP.EXE from C:\TEMP.
  57.  For further details, regarding the Redirector, bring up on-line Help after
  58.  installing it.

  60.  NOTES:
  61.  1. WIN2NCS will only work with Netware Connect 1.0.
  62.  
  63.  2. It has been tested with MS-Windows 3.1, other versions of
  64.  Windows have not been tested.
