  1. General informations of the IBM CD
  2. ----------------------------------

  4. This CD contains the latest programs, utilities of the operating system
  5. OS/2 V2.0/V2.1/V2.11 and OS/2 Warp from IBM.
  6.  
  7. The most programs are Public-Domain/Freeware/Shareware.
  8.  
  9. Please take note of the authors informations for using these programs,
  10. as well as the note in the file Licence.ENG.
  11.  
  12. Age of these programs
  13. ----------------------

  15. The most programs date from 1994 and 1995, they are also not older
  16. than 7 months and works with OS/2 V2.xx and OS/2 Warp.
  17.  
  18. Older programs are included in some list, because they stay current
  19. and could be interesting. This concern specially the lists Packer,
  20. Programming Tools, REXX Utils and Textfiles, Infos.

  22. Structure of the CD
  23. -------------------

  25. The programs are put down in subject lists. The file descriptions, 
  26. the listenames and the individual lists are safed in the list 1.
  27. Supplementary, you will find a filelist in each individual list.
  28. To have a maximum of programs on this CD, the most of programs
  29. are safed in a compress form. The disadvantage is to unpack the
  30. files before using. Please find the exact description in the
  31. file PACKINFO.ENG.

  33. All files are choosed from the offer existant of the Hitline
  34. BBS (064/56'02'00) from more than 15'000 programs and 2,6 GB,
  35. new combined and virus tested.
  36.  
  37. This CD has been produced in the collaboration with the companies
  38. IBM (Switzerland), Adivan Hightech LTD. (CD production) and AMK
  39. Hitline LTD (official IBM BBS for OS/2).
