  2. INSTALLATION
  3.  
  4. Prerequisites:
  5.  
  6.     1. You must have installed OS/2 REXX support.
  7.        REXX support is installed automatically with OS/2 version 3.0 (i.e., 
  8.        Warp).  If you have using  a 2.x version of OS/2 you will need to
  9.        install REXX support using the Selective Install utility if you have 
  10.        not already done so.
  11.  
  12.     2. You must have the file vrobj.dll.
  13.        If the .zip file containing this file did not include vrobj.dll, you
  14.        can retrieve vrobj21c.zip from:
  15.

  18.        It is also available via anonymous ftp from:

  24. Installing WebWriter/2:
  25.  
  26.     1. Install OS/2 REXX support, using the OS/2 Selective Install utility if 
  27.        necessary.
  28.  
  29.     2. Unzip ww2_100.zip into a temporary directory.
  30.  
  31.     3. Make sure that 
  32.        a. vrobj.dll exists in a directory in your LIBPATH.
  33.       or 
  34.        b. You have the file vrobj.dll in the directory that you unzipped 
  35.           ww2_100.zip into.
  36.  
  37.     4. If you are reinstalling WebWriter/2, delete the WebWriter/2 Folder and 
  38.        Program objects before continuing.
  39.  
  40.     5. Run Install.exe.
  41.  
  42.     6. You may wish to view the readme file that is loaded in the WebWriter/2 -
  43.        Installation window before you continue.
  44.  
  45.     7. Select Install/Install from the WebWriter/2 - Installation menu to start
  46.        the installation process.
  47.  
  48.     8. Fill in the Install WebWriter/2 options and click Continue.  You may wish
  49.        to install VROBJ.DLL to the C:\OS2\DLL directory rather than another
  50.        directory which will need to be added to your LIBPATH statement in your
  51.        CONFIG.SYS file.
  52.  
  53.     9. WebWriter/2 will be installed using the entries you have made and a
  54.        WebWriter/2 folder and program objects will be created on your desktop.
  55.  
  56.    10. If your CONFIG.SYS was updated you will need to shutdown and restart your
  57.        system for the changes to take effect.
  58.  
  59.  
  60. NOTE:    WebWriter/2 is packaged on this disk using Info-ZIP's
  61.          compression utility.  The installation program uses UnZip
  62.          to read zip files from the disk.  Info-ZIP's software (Zip,
  63.          UnZip and related utilities) is free and can be obtained
  64.          as source code or executables from various bulletin board
  65.          services and anonymous-ftp sites, including CompuServe's
  66.          IBMPRO forum and ftp.uu.net:/pub/archiving/zip/*.
