  30. TO INSTALL

  32. Insert the How Computers Work CD-ROM
  33. into your CD-ROM drive.
  34.  
  35. Click the Start menu.
  36.  
  37. Click on Run.

  39. In the text field type d:\setup
  40.  (if d:\ is the name of your CD-ROM drive).
  41.  
  42. Your How Computers Work CD-ROM runs best with
  43. your graphics display set to 16 bit 
  44. (Thousands of colors). Please make sure both
  45. of these are available to maximize your 
  46. Multimedia experience. Also set your monitor 
  47. to 800 X 600 or larger.

  51. GRAPHICS DISPLAY
  52.  
  53. Please use the Display dialog box to set your 
  54. monitor to 16 bit (Thousands of colors).  To do
  55. this, you must first choose Settings under the
  56. Start menu, then choose Control Panel.  Double-click
  57. on the Display icon and select the Settings tab. 
  58. Under Color Palette choose "High Color (16 bit).  
  59. Select apply and follow instructions.

  63. TROUBLESHOOTING

  65. If any errors occur,
  66. please visit your manufacturers website for 
  67. the latest drivers.  If there is an error with
  68. some of the digital video or the Intel Indeo«
  69. video 5 copy, please run intel5.exe in the 
  70. support folder of the CD-ROM
