  7. Deze demo geeft de mogelijkheid twee keer gedurende
  8. 15 minuten met de kleine katjes te stoeien.
  9. Bevalt die kennismaking u, dan zult u het pakket
  10. aan moeten schaffen.
  11. Nogmaals de demo installeren op uw computer helpt
  12. niet.
  13. Wel is het mogelijk de demo op floppy te zetten
  14. voor iemand die u ook kennis wilt laten maken met
  15. de katjes. Hiervoor hebt u twee HD floppies nodig.

  23. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  28. - WinÆ95 requires at least 16 color video card and monitor
  29. - Windows 3.1 requires at least 256 color video card and monitor

  40. [How to Uninstall Catz PC Users]
  41.  
  42. Before reinstalling Catz please make sure that you have deleted all files 
  43. and directories related to the Catz program.  You must also exit the Catz 
  44. program before attempting the deletion process. If you installed from the 
  45. Catz floppies or CD ROM the following files were created:
  46.  
  47. In the root of the drive label C: or the drive you elected to install Catz, 
  48. delete all directories labeled Catz.XXX (where XXX is the first three letters
  49. of your first name or the letters "fir").
  50.  
  51. In the Windows directory (C:\Windows, Win95 or Win) delete the following
  52. 2 files:
  53.  
  54. 1)  Catz.ini
  55. 2)  Catznapz.scr
  56.  
  57. In the Windows system directory (C:\Windows\system) delete the following
  58. 4 files:
  59.  
  60. 1) Catnapz.dll
  61. 2) Catzdll.dll
  62. 3) Catzrezx.dll
  63. 4) Soslib03.dll
  64.  
  65.  
  66. If you prefer to use DOS instead of File Manager or Windows Explorer you
  67. can refer to the instructions below.

  69. Windows 3.1 & 3.11 Users:
  70.  
  71. Locate and launch the MS-DOS Prompt program (usually located in the
  72. MAIN program group by default).
  73.  
  74. Windows 95 Users:
  75.  
  76. Click on the Start button, select Programs then MS-DOS Prompt.
  77.  
  78. You should see the following:
  79.  
  80. C:\Windows >
  81.  
  82. 1)  Type del catz*.*  <ENTER>
  83. 2)  Type cd..  <ENTER>                  (You should now see just C:>)
  84. 4)  Type deltree catz.*  <ENTER>
  85. 5)  Press Y for Yes
  86. 6)  Type exit to return to the Windows environment
  87.  
  88. After each del command you should just the DOS prompt (C:\Windows).

  95. Please perform the following:

  97. Whenever you install Catz the following files will also be installed
  98. to the Windows' system directory (C:\Windows\System).

  104. 4)  wing32.dll
  105. 5)  wingde.dll

  109. To make sure that Catz will update the above files you must move them
  110. into some sort of temporary directory then reinstall Catz.  Once Catz
  111. is running you can delete the files you moved to the temporary directory.

  114. [Program crashes after installation]
  115.  
  116. In most cases this is a result of the video driver not support WinG.
  117. To overcome this problem please contact your Video Card's manufacturer
  118. to obtain the very latest drivers.
  119.  
  120. [I forgot the password for my screensaver]
  121.  
  122. The Catnapz screen saver uses the same interface that built-in 
  123. Windows screen savers use.  Therefore, if you have ever set a
  124. password for another module,  Catz will see it and ask for it.
  125.  
  126. To start fresh, open the file called "control.ini" located in your
  127. Windows directory.  This is at the root level of your C:\ drive
  128. (C:\Win95 for Windows '95, or you may have named it "Win").
  129.  
  130. In this file, scroll down to the section with this header:
  131. [Screen Saver].  There is a line under this which reads
  132. "password=xxxx".  Highlight this line and delete it!  Then exit
  133. and save the "control.ini" file.
  134.  
  135. Restart your computer if you want to be completely safe. 
  136.  
  137. Next time you launch Catz, you will be able to set a new password
  138. in Catnapz Options, or leave it be if you don't want a password at all.
