Transcription: The island Ariadne landed on with Theseus was called Naxos. Theseus rode her ashore and they sat on the beach talking until, worn out, she fell asleep and Theseus left her. Some accuse Theseus of having abandoned Ariadne. He did have political reasons not to marry her. Athena's advice to him was quite curvent.
