  59.                                | meant to replace CHURCH.PAT from Gravis,
  60.                                | because it is quite different.

  62.                                | people have been asking me for. The samples
  63.                                | were obtained from the file brgucl.gkh
  64.                                | (EPS-format) and converted into an Ultrasound
  65.                                | patch.  I tried to keep the size of the patch
  66.                                | smaller than 64kb (63 kb :)), so that Mega-Em
  67.                                | will be able to load the patch.  The greatest
  68.                                | disadvantage of this patch is that I didn't
  69.                                | have a good sample in the C0-C2 range. You
  70.                                | might even want to consider using the origina
  71.                                | GUS-sample for that range... fool around with
  72.                                | it as you like!

  279.                                | 28kb of memory, but the greatest advantage is
  280.                                | that you don't have to be so embarrassed
  281.                                | anymore when demonstrating your GUS for some
  282.                                | friends and that wild guitar solo kicks in!
  283. SAMPLES.ZIP    621044  03-25-94  This is a collection of 8-bit samples,
  284.                                | transfered to the .pat format used by the
  285.                                | Gravis Ultrasound.  It is suggested that user
  286.                                | should have at least 512k on their board, but
  287.                                | 1 meg is recomended.  These are not instrumen
  288.                                | patches, but sample banks.  They are taken
  289.                                | from CD's and high quality commercial copies
  290.                                | of movies and documentaries.  Samples are not
  291.                                | only fun, but can also give a song an extra
  292.                                | quality, popular in much of today's music.
  293.                                | I've tried to include only the useful sample
  294.                                | banks to save you disk space, as samples tend
  295.                                | to take up more HD space than normal patches.
