  5. Unfortunately, you must plan your use of the ports since the exact
  6. placement of the parts is dependent on the change.  First determine
  7. how many ports will be for BBS use only and how many should be for
  8. general use.

  10. Some possible variations are below.  Note that the numbers must
  11. be consecutive.

  20. These are not all the possible permutations.  In fact, two cards could
  21. be used to provide 8 BBS ports if you like.  Trying to explain how to
  22. set up all the possibilities would take many many pages of text.

  24. The change outlined below forces all the BBS ports down IRQ2 leaving
  25. the standard COM1 and COM2 IRQ lines alone.
