  1.  KA2BQE is the call sign of Brian Riley.  I live in Underhill Center,
  2. Vermont, which is in the northern region about 16 miles East of
  3. Burlington and just about a mile from the summit of Mount Mansfield.

  5.   My home QTH is a log cabin part way up the mountain. My tower stands
  6. at over 1600 feet above sea level. I built the cabin myself from akit
  7. and it is totally electrically independent, and only use a small amount
  8. of liquid propane for the gas grill and emergency backup heating.

  10.   I like to hike and walk in the woods with my dog, Hawk, a 110 pound
  11. Timberwolf/German Shepard hybrid.  I do a lot of photography with one
  12. of my best subjects being the antics Hawk and my 6 pound cat Fafhrd
  13. playing with each other. I rag chew on 10 meters (my CW is abominable,
  14. I may be a Tech forever, though I do have some hopes!) and play with my
  15. computers.

  17.   I believe that packet radio is one of the greatest things that has
  18. happened to the hobby, not as an end in itself but as a tool for hams
  19. to expand the horizins of their communications. I see packet as a place
  20. to exchange ideas on life and living in addition to the mundane
  21. technical oriented materials.
