  55. About the programs:
  56.  
  57.    Findval is a simple menu driven program for finding the values of
  58. resistors and capacitors from the sometimes cryptic codes on them.
  59. the Resistor section allows you to find the value of a resistor from
  60. the color code including components with Silver and Gold multiplier
  61. Bands. You will get a screen with the highest, nominal, and lowest 
  62. allowable value according to the tolerance band selected.
  63.    You may also give Findval a resistance 10 ohms or greater and
  64. a tolerance and Findval will tell you the color code for that resistance.
  65.    The Capacitor Section of Findval is for the conversion of codes
  66. often found on Disk type capacitors (ie: 240K = 24pF +/-10%).

  68.    Ohmslaw is a basic calculator for finding resistance (R), 
  69. current (I), voltage (E), and power (watts). The power section
  70. allows you to calculate power by either I^2*R formula, or,
  71. the I*E*Efficiency(%) (FCC indirect method) formula for Radio.

  73.    SWR is a calculator for finding the Standing Wave Ratio from
  74. measured foward and reflected power (in watts).
  75.  
  76.    Wavelen is a calculator for finding whole, half, and quarter
  77. wavelength in Meters, Feet, and Inches, from a Radio Frequency
  78. entered in Megahertz. This should be useful to those designing
  79. antennas to find the length of wire to use in any common unit
  80. of measurement.

  82.    All of the programs are menu driven and self-explanatory
  83.  and easy to use, Just follow the prompts and you got it!
