  14.   If you are now running a version prior to 4.0 you must convert
  15.   your existing message and user files to version 4 format.
  16.  
  17.   First, backup all files in the directory used by the MailBox.
  18.   In case something goes wrong, you will be able to restore
  19.   everything to where it was without loss of messages.
  20.  
  21.   The conversion from earlier versions to version 4 is done by MBCONV.
  22.   Set the default directory to the directory containing the
  23.   MAIL.DAT and USER.DAT files. Then run MBCONV.

  25.   If you are running a version prior to 3.0 you must first make
  26.   certain that the message text has been moved to individual files.
  27.   Do this by executing the GF command.

  31.   COMXBIOS has been replaced by PIPE. The old COMXBIOS device
  32.   driver will not work with versions of the MailBox beyond 4.0

  34.   Please read the section in NOTES.MB very carefully with regard
  35.   to configuring your system to make use of the PIPES. It has been
  36.   tested with DoubleDOS and works, but with 4 PIPE Ports definable,
  37.   you should be able to run 4 separate copies with DESQVIEW.

  39.   Check that any sub-directory you use in config.mb exists,
  40.   the existance of most directory / device paths is NOT checked.

  45.   Read the first few pages of NOTES.MB before you attempt to run
  46.   the program, and read it in detail for information on setting up
  47.   route tables, etc.

  50.   on it now, the outline and initial text are finished.

  53.   or the user documentation, please let me (or KB6IRS) know - we can
  54.   use all the help we can get. I don't write good English ... so
  55.   I'm not much help ...
