Netrosnooper scans a web directory for linked and hidden files , and allows for multiple downloading. </p>
<h2>Here's the details:</h2>
<p> If you find a hyperlink on a webpage to, for example, a picture file called
<i>linda1.jpg</i>, there is most likely a file called <i>linda2.jpg</i> even though there is no link to it. Not seldom, there are more files than are displayed on a webpage.
Netrosnooper takes as input a URL as a starting point ( <i>linda1.jpg</i>), replaces the literals with the next in sequential order (
<i>linda2.jpg</i>) and asks the web server if it exists. If it does, the filename is shown in a list: </p>

and so on. </p>

Netrosnooper searches until it reaches either the maximum number of searches, or it reaches the maximum number of failures. </p>
<p> These limits are shown on the left pane, and can be altered by the user. The scan sequence first goes down to 0 then starts with the given index +1.
After the search, multiselect files in the list, click the Save-button, and netrosnooper saves all files in the selected directory on your computer.
Of course, the starting point file must be a file that is indexed. This means that the files must contain literals in the filename. </p>

Scanning </h3>

1.From your default Internet browser, copy a link to an interesting file to your clipboard. This is usually done by rightclicking the hyperlink and select "Copy Shortcut" </li>

2.Switch to, or start Netrosnooper, paste the shortcut in the textfield labeled "URL". This is done by rightclick in the URL-field and select paste. </li>

3.Click the GO!-button. </li>

4.Netrosnooper displays the files found. </li>

Max Files:</h3>
<p>This number indicates the limit of files that Netrosnooper scans for, including failed files. Default is 100. </p>

Max Failures:</h3>
<p>This number indicates how many fails Netrosnooper will get, before it stops scanning. Default is 5 failures before Netrosnooper stops scanning. </p>

Overwrite: </h3>
<p>
Check this if you would like Netrosnooper to replace files with the same name when downloading. If it is unchecked (default) the new file will have an
extension to its filename. For example, if the file <i> linda1.jpg</i> already exists in the download directory, the new file will be called
<i>linda1(2).jpg</i>.</p>
<h3>GO!</h3>
<p>Clicking the GO!-button starts a scan.</p>
<h3>Save</h3>
<p>Clicking the Save-button lets you select a download directory and starts a
download.</p>

The Stop-button will stop any scanning or downloading currently running.</p>
