DSK_CAT - CATALOG an Apple ][ DOS 3.3 .DSK file from the MSDOS prompt.
WHAT IT DOES:
Makes a catalog. Try it!
Invocation:
dsk_cat DSK-name
Return value:
If the program fails, it returns the value "1" which can be detected
with the MSDOS batch command "IF ERRORLEVEL 1 THEN ... ".
Otherwise, the program returns 0.
NOTE:
The one difference I left in is that there is a vertical bar along the
right edge of the CATALOG. This is to the exact right of the file
names and lets you see exactly how many spaces are in the names.
NOTE:
This is suitable for tying into shells. I use XTREE and can put
the cursor on a .DSK file, then see its contents with a keystroke.
I hereby release this binary to the public domain, but retain copyright
over its expression. That means that no one but me owns it. Please
don't sell it without giving me some of the money, and please don't ever
take my name off it, or I'll get what Ward Christiansen got when his
XMODEM software was stolen, namely, zip.
