  1. LED Sign Installation instructions

  3. Since you are reading this document, you have successfully completed
  4. the first step, unarchiving the "tar.gz" file.  
  5.  
  6. The first thing you should do now is bring up netscape and view the page
  7. http://<your server>/<where you put LEDSign>/LEDSign/WWW/LED.html.  If you
  8. have any problems with the applet not starting, it is probably some type of
  9. security problem.  In that case, check to make sure all the permissions on
  10. the .class files, scripts, and fonts are set so that they are readable by
  11. everybody.  If that still does not fix the problem, check your security
  12. settings in netscape (under the options menu "Security options") and change
  13. them to be more lenient and make sure the "disable java" is off.

  15. Once you have the applet running on the LEDSign/WWW/LED.html page, it is
  16. successfully installed.
