  1. SiNCE SCAN 1.0 - THESE iTEMS HAVE BEEN iMPROVED :

  5.  (-/+) Scan is now a DiAMOND release !

  7.    (+) The time in searching for new files has been decreased to an absolutely
  8.        minimum ! - This results of the usage of a PPL command which i didn't
  9.        recognize before writing this holy piece of shit !
  10.        Scan is totally new rewritten - it uses many routines which you already
  11.        added to pcboard - like your flag command and texts from your pcbtext
  12.        files - no further need of the old ugly selfmade flag command ;)

  14.    (+) Leaves a comment in the Caller Log which shows you that Scan 3.00 was
  15.        active
  16.  
  17.    (+) The config data file(s) ha(s)/(ve) been shortened to 2 lines !

  19.    (+) Select 1.2 Command has been enabled to use other Languages
  20.        (requires an own config file `slctdat.language' with 3 lines)

  22.    (+) Scan is now compatible with the special short mode as used in Check/Diz

  24.    (+) Compatibility has been improved a lot ! So that there should be no
  25.        problem with any (!) PCBoard Configuration any more !

  27.    (-) The files `Head', `Feet' and `Header' are unessesary, you may delete `em
  28.  
  29.    (-) Scan uses another filename/format for the users configuration files
  30.        (Perhaps a Sysop with 65535 users may've gotten problemss with the old
  31.         file names ;) )
  32.        (Sorry but Scan will ask any user for new selecting the conferences which
  33.         he wants to be scanned - cause he'll not find the old saved config !)
